DesiMatch.com Hosts Successful Speed Dating Event for 250 Indian Professionals

Partnership with NetIP at 2005 National Conference Draws Great Attendance

Nearly 250 single men and women from across the country came together to meet each other in their quest to find that special someone at a speed-dating event hosted by DesiMatch.com during NetIP National Conference on September 3, 2005 in Atlanta, GA.

DesiMatch.com, a professional matchmaking/ speed-dating organization partnered with NetIP to deliver the matchmaking event as a value add for 250 of the NetIP Conferences’ 800 plus paid registrants. The event consisted of an opening icebreaker mingling session, followed by a series of one-on-one “Speed Dates.” Both the icebreaker and the individual sessions provided attendees a unique opportunity to meet other Indian professionals and build relationships on both the personal and professional front. “People were extremely excited and eager to meet one another”, said Seema Singh Zokarkar, COO of DesiMatch.com. “If people’s faces were any indication of their feelings about the event I am pleased as all I saw and heard were smiles and laughter.”

Ashish Mistry, Chairman of the 2005 NetIP National Conference, said “the individuals I spoke with all had great things to say about the logistics and organization of the speed dating event; it seemed like everyone enjoyed meeting one another in this more structured setting.”

Another interesting partner of DesiMatch.com, Rose Events, added that the first couple to eventually get married as a result of this specific event would be eligible to free event planning services by them.
